How locals do it
A benbang dining room with a river view — 桂花红烧肉 (osmanthus braised pork) and 松鼠鲈鱼 (sweet-and-sour perch) are the showpieces. Come for the view as much as the food.
Don't get this wrong
You are paying a Bund-view premium; reserve a window table in advance if the view matters. The building entrance is set back from the promenade — check the address, not just 'The Bund'.
