How locals do it
A century-old vegetarian kitchen in the middle of the meat-heavy Yu Garden. The 净素菜包 (vegetable bun) and 素蟹粉 (mock crab roe) are the orders — it is the one spot here that vegans can relax at.
Don't get this wrong
It is inside the tourist core and closes earlier than the surrounding malls; don't leave it to the end of the day. The 'crab' is made of vegetables and egg substitute — that is the point.
